Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-14
Hux ("we") respects and protects the personal privacy of every user of Hux. This policy describes how we collect, use, store and protect your information. For any questions, please contact privacy@hux.app。
Information we collect
- Account info: email (or third-party sign-in sub), subscription status.
- Device metadata: hashed device ID, platform, last active time.
- Synced ciphertext: your SSH configs, keys, notes etc. are stored end-to-end encrypted. We cannot decrypt them.
- Anonymous telemetry: crash stats, feature usage counts (toggleable in Settings, on by default).
What we do not collect
- SSH command history or terminal output
- File contents transferred over SFTP
- AI conversation contents (sent directly to the LLM provider you configured, never via Hux)
- Cloud vendor credentials or SSH keys (stored only in encrypted form, and only uploaded when you enable sync)
Third-party processors
- Payment: Apple In-App Purchase, Huawei IAP, our own gateway (Stripe)
- Email: Postmark
- Error monitoring: Sentry (no business data included)
Your rights
- Export: export all local data as JSON at any time.
- Delete: closing your account wipes synced ciphertext and account data from our servers.
- Inquiry: request all data we hold about your account via email.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification.
